Terms of Service
Effective Date: 13 May 2026 · Last Updated: 26 May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Strata platform. By activating an account or connecting your domain, you agree to these Terms in full.
Definitions
Autonomous Deployment
The Strata Engine publishes content to your domain automatically, without requiring per-article approval from the Operator. By activating the Engine, the Operator:
- Acknowledges that articles will be published live without manual review
- Accepts full responsibility for reviewing Published Content and removing any content that violates applicable laws, platform policies, or their own editorial standards
- Understands that the Engine generates content based on publicly available information and competitor data provided by the Operator; Strata does not guarantee factual accuracy beyond its multi-model verification layer
Operators may pause or disable the Engine at any time from the dashboard. Strata is not liable for content published prior to pausing.
Subscription & Allocated Capacity
Each active subscription node allocates a specific volume of compute credits and autonomous deployments per billing cycle:
Each full autonomous cycle (including competitor scanning, research parsing, editor review, and cryptographic anchoring) consumes approximately 2,120 credits. Standard limits refresh monthly. Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle.
Payment & Billing
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
- Subscriptions renew automatically on the same day each month (monthly) or each year (annual) unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Under the Growth Architect tier, Auto Credit Top-Up may be enabled (which automatically processes a USD transaction when your compute balance falls below 10%).
- Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the 14-day cancellation window from the initial purchase date.
- Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Strata reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice. Existing subscribers are protected from price increases until their next renewal date.
Acceptable Use
Operators may not use the Engine to publish content that:
- Promotes or facilitates illegal goods or services
- Contains financial misinformation, investment advice, or regulatory representations without appropriate disclosures
- Is defamatory, harassing, or violates the intellectual property rights of third parties
- Constitutes "parasite SEO" on domains the Operator does not own or control
- Intentionally manipulates search results in a manner that violates Google's Webmaster Guidelines
Violation of the Acceptable Use policy may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
Intellectual Property
- Your Content: Articles published by the Engine to your domain belong entirely to the Operator. Strata claims no ownership over Published Content.
- Platform IP: The Strata engine, its algorithms, Semantic Triangulation methodology, and all platform code are the exclusive intellectual property of Strata.
- Competitor Data: Competitor content extracted during Vampire Extraction is used solely to identify content gaps. Strata does not reproduce competitor content verbatim; it uses it as a semantic signal only.
Service Level & Availability
- Starter / Growth / Authority: Best-effort availability. No uptime SLA for the MVP phase.
- Enterprise: A dedicated SLA is available and must be negotiated separately at the time of contract.
- Strata will provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance where possible. Unplanned outages will be communicated via the dashboard status banner.
Limitation of Liability
- Strata is not liable for search ranking changes, traffic fluctuations, or revenue loss resulting from Published Content or Engine operations.
- Strata is not liable for content published autonomously that an Operator later finds objectionable or inaccurate, provided the Engine operated within its documented parameters.
- Our total liability to any Operator shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by that Operator in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
Termination
- Operators may cancel their subscription at any time from the dashboard settings.
- Strata may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations of the Acceptable Use policy (Section 05).
- Upon termination, access to the dashboard is revoked. Account data is retained for 90 days before deletion, unless the Operator requests earlier deletion.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Wilmington, Delaware, except where prohibited by applicable law.
